Just thought I would throw out an idea I had and ask for opinions. Ive been toying with recipes recenlty to make them my own, and came up with the following- Almond Joy Stout, now you may be thinking I put candy bars in my beer, buts thats not what happened. I ordered the plain stout recipe from Austin Homebrew and added 2oz of coconut extract (real not imitation) and 2 tablespoons of almond extract in a 5 gallon batch. I will admit it came out a little stronger than I had hoped and will probably put 1 to 1.5 oz of coconut extract and 1 tbsp of almond extract in next time. But over all it is a nice contrast to the stout.

Does that sound like you would try if you saw it on a shelf in your store?
