I have ordered a few items from Austin Homebrew from Texas. I do have an advantge from other Canadians because I send it to my BIL who lives in the US and comes up here for the summer. Our prices up here for brewing equipment is sometimes over the top. Here is an example. My 14 gallon SS conical was $1000.00 up here in Canada, I paid $553.00 US when our dollar waa at par. I would love to support Canadian homebrew suppliers, but they just charge crazy prices for equipment.

I hear you. I've bought some stuff from Austin Homebrew Supply too because Forrest has gone out of his way to get it shipped to me as cheaply as possible. I'm fortunate that I'm near a good supply of grain at my HBS in Winnipeg, but as you say, equipment is still stupidly expensive here. I've been collecting and building bit by bit.
